I decided to make all my Workstation Disk Images available online for free.

Lately, I’ve been receiving an increasing number of requests for working ZuluSCSI disk images for old workstations people are restoring. I recently converted my entire collection to ZuluSCSI, so it wasn’t a huge task to put together a library and host it.

I cleansed each image for a standard setup based on the OS type and documented all my boxes. I ended up using Backblaze to host the images and added pages to oldsilicon.com to direct people to them.

Restoring older machines is really fun, and sometimes that fun includes getting the OS onto the box—and sometimes it doesn’t!

If you’re restoring one of these great old machines, feel free to grab an image, load it up, and give it a try. Send me a note via the "Contact Me" link to let me know how it works out (or if it doesn’t). I love hearing about other people’s experiences!
